About
The yellow and red decoration is of the kind known in factory records as a pointillé (dotted) ground and was produced in several different colours (compare L2012.191.a-b). The landscape painting belongs to a late revival of a type of decoration found on Vincennes porcelain, but in late examples is much less finely executed (compare L2012.77).
