About
"I can almost imagine a sculpture of something like that – structure stuff. I also used the pedestal a lot. I remember seeing a show of Pol Bury's in London. I thought he was a very subtle kinetic artist. They were simple cubes and shapes, but what was interesting about it was the way he created movement. It was very slight. It wasn't
the obvious thing of spinning around, like a lot of kinetic sculptors of the period, like Tinguely (though I quite like Tinguely for different reasons), but Pol Bury was very subtle I thought. I was taken by him."Jan Senbergs
