About
'The fort is a complex tower form. Even though a lot of these prints started from a base or platform and therefore look formal, I always wanted to throw a bit of asymmetry into it; throwing it off balance and putting in a prop. It is the same thing as with those three perfect pyramids being eaten away [refer to 'Three, one doubtful' 1969]. Beginning with formality, then breaking with formality. Thats a recurring thing for me...'
