My colour blindness is not a false perception or fear of mine. What I see is my certainty. But others’ visions of ‘certainty’ about colour created mine as a falsehood. A fear formed: an anxiety about what ‘is’ and what ‘isn’t’. We don’t see each other’s vision, yet a ‘truth’ is sought from an overall mutual agreement, with labels and definitions. My surreal environments represent my hyper-real world and question whether there is any right or wrong. While I cannot see colour with the certainty of others, I can take control of distortion and manipulating. There is no truth, only individual perceptions.
