I aim to highlight the ambiguous nature of landscape and the effect of human intervention on both the environment and the self. Investigating the figure forming the self, through dwelling and moving within its landscape, each work flows through the other to show this movement of the figure within its environment. In this way I represent how identity and landscape affect each other. The fox and the owl symbolise contrasting personas within one’s self. They reflect the contradictory sides of human personality and reveal the link between the individual and their environment.
