Angus Hardwick Traces: stains, processes, memories

Work by Angus Hardwick

Life is not completely transient. It is constantly shifting, altering and changing. However these changes are not invisible or temporary. All life forms leave marks, stains and memories of their presence and metamorphosis. These stains trace life cycles and allude to memories of past processes. I have used a variety of expressive mediums to capture the traces of these cycles as both an abstract form and as a symbol of nature.

Through the use of non-traditional art materials my work references the near invisible traces in nature so that one may consider the life and processes of these forms.
