Elaine Zhang Diversified culture

I have chosen my teacher, an artist named Richard Chao, for my portrait. I really respect and admire the variety of different cultures and ethnicities he incorporates into his art, as it shows a diverse world where everyone is of value and of equal importance. He has influenced my own artwork. I have created a background with a traditional Chinese landscape painting along with Australian elements such as the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge to show two cultures combined.
