Birds in branches' candlestick [one of a pair]
circa 1765-circa 1770
Candlesticks of comparable design were also produced at Bow at the same period. This example has the typical Derby patch marks. The candlestick is held by a looped branch at the back which has a thumb-rest in the form of a small shell. See also L2012.118.
