Title

Spring from the rustic seasons,

circa 1750-1755

Artist

Derby

England

1750 -

About

This figure and Winter (L2012.111) come from a set of four pairs of figures, each pair representing one of the four seasons. The decoration is of a style associated with a London workshop, possibly that of James Giles. The bases have the ‘dry edge’ characteristic of Derby figures at this period.
