  • About

    Sir Joseph Carruthers was appointed a trustee of the National Art Gallery of New South Wales on 3 March 1899. His seat on the board became vacant on 1 July 1902 and he was re-appointed in September 1903. His seat became vacant for a second time in February 1908 and he was again re-appointed to the board in February 1908. He served until his death on 10 December 1932.
