The phrase composed of six characters is from Tao Hongjing (456—536) of the Liang State of the Southern dynasty. 南朝梁陶弘景《尋山志》:風下松而含曲,泉瀠石而生文
Dun Lifu, 顿立夫 (1906 -1988), native of Zhuoxian of Hebei province. He carved the seal of "the government of the People's Republic of China". He was the page boy of one of the founder of Xiling Seal Art Society Wang Fu'an,王福庵, and learnt seal carving from Wang.
