About
'My mountains' belong to an ongoing series of ‘mental maps’ that meditate on the place of the individual in the globally interconnected present. Initiated in the early 1990s, this series of small scale works on paper were often created by the artist when travelling. They take visual cues from maps, architecture and the landscape but are inflected with subjective reflections to create kaleidoscopic interpretations of local environments.
