A deadly mix of fun, facts, chat and laughs, Faboriginal is an Indigenous art quiz show, now a TV series. It takes its cues from the art and artists in the Art Gallery of NSW's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art collection. Activism through art has been, and remains, a vital tool employed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. Creating awareness and advocating for change, artists have long used their works to highlight injustices and inequality in regard to human rights, land rights, moral rights and copyright. Art has also been an effective form of evidence within the legal system.
