About
Born at Ikuntji/Haasts Bluff in 1948, Lilly has Country in the Ikuntji area. She is also associated with the Women's Dreaming at Kunajarrayi. She came to the newly established settlement at Papunya in the early 1960s as a young girl and remained in the settlement for many years before moving to Watiyawanu/Mount Leibig, where she now resides with her husband, Norman Kelly, also a painter. They have three children and five grandchildren. A Luritja speaker, she painted for Papunya Tula Artists since the mid- 1980s and her work is included in the Araluen Trust's collection of western desert paintings.
