Art Centre documentation for this work states:
"Thinthow is the name of the yellow-bellied snake. He has a short tail and belongs to the story place called Thinthow Awa’. There is a big palm tree there too. We call also call that place Ngench Thayan which means "sacred place" in Wik-Mungkan language." -
