About
Margot Holden was active from around 1905-30. She studied with the important modernist art teacher Antonio Dattilo-Rubbo in Sydney and at the London School of Animal Painting under Frank Calderon. Holden exhibited sculpture and watercolours with the Royal Art Society of NSW between 1909 and 1923 and is best known for work on animal subjects.
