Zhang Bailing

About
Zhang Bailing was a native of Liaoning. A 'jinshi' of 1772, he was a 'bianxiu' or compiler at the imperial Hanlin Academy. He served as Governor-General of Liangjiang (in present-day Jiangsu, Anhui and Jiangxi Provinces). He was a renowned writer and calligrapher.
