Further information

This is Lloyd Rees' first European sketchbook. It begins with a number of drawings in Singapore (en route to Europe by ship), the remainder are of France, Italy and Britain. It also has nine pages of written observations of paintings in public galleries and of the Folies Bergères, Paris.
