About
This energetic and bold painting of a ‘Spanish encounter’ is thought to have been painted the same year as the artist visited Spain. It evokes qualities of modern European abstract painting, but also her own frenetic and exciting encounter with a country that just five years before had made a strong an impression on the art of her husband John Olsen.
