About
Photographed by Peter Moody.
"'The female sexual organs' of the title are words that are cut into the body of the bride. The 12 photographs depict stages of this process, as words like 'God', 'Father', 'Eye', 'Arm' etc. are cut with a scalpel and the 'Bride' enacts a sequence of poses to facilitate the processes of symbolic division".
