Art Gallery Society

Founded in 1953 to support the Art Gallery of NSW, the Society is a not-for-profit public company and registered charity with our own governing council, staff, budget, annual report and events program. This structure enables us to raise funds to assist the Gallery with acquisitions of art, for which there is currently no government funding.

Operating as the membership arm of the Gallery, the organisation provides a range of benefits and activities to enhance your experience of art and culture.
