Hyper-linked
Seven contemporary Australian artists pay tribute to our networked selves.
Hyper-linked is an exhibition for the digital realm, which presents new projects by Heath Franco, Matthew Griffin, Brian Fuata, Amrita Hepi, Kate Mitchell, JD Reforma and Justene Williams. Each is alert to the almost paradoxical fact that we are experiencing mass disconnect in an age of hyper-connectivity.
They examine the role the internet plays in shaping our lives and the ways in which we communicate, bearing witness and paying tribute to our networked selves.
Hyper-linked is a Together In Art new work project, supported by the Tindale Foundation.
