Performance: Sweet Incites artist residency Blu Jay

Join multidisciplinary artist Blu Jay for two performances of playful and surreal choreographies. 

Blu Jay has observed the rhythms of visitors in our buildings as part of a Sweet Incites artist residency at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. The resulting performances, developed in collaboration with composition and sound designer Aarti Jadu, show how fantasy and the speculative can transform everyday movements and exchanges.

Blu Jay will also be presenting a different work as part of Queer Art After Hours on 22 February 2023.

These events are part of WorldPride at the Art Gallery, an extensive program of art, performance, films, talks and more in association with Sydney WorldPride 2023.
