Performance: RITUAL Maria Tran

Don’t miss one of Asia’s leading action stars. Be engrossed by this powerful choreographic work by Australian–Vietnamese performer, filmmaker and martial artist Maria Tran, presented inside the Outlaw exhibition in the Art Gallery of New South Wales’ new North Building.

Performed by Tran and world-class martial artists Kimberley Vo and Therese Chen, with live Taiko drumming by Haruka Kunimune, RITUAL is a contemporary fusion of martial-arts styles that pays reverence to the cultural traditions embedded in this ancient practice.
