In this hands-on program for primary, secondary and tertiary students at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, we explore the art on view in Yiribana Gallery, a space dedicated to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art that is now within the Art Gallery’s new building. Led by a Gallery educator, this interactive program combines close looking at original works of art with a related art-making workshop to enhance student understanding of materials, artist practice and art interpretation.
This workshop can be adapted for all education levels and is designed for groups of 30 students or less. Materials included. We recommend booking at least four weeks in advance.
