In a series of DJ sets between 5pm and 8pm, Leo Tanoi shares the best reggae, dub and soul from across the Pacific Islands for this special season of Art After Hours, co-produced with Matisse Alive artist Angela Tiatia.

Leo Tanoi is a Sydney-based Pasifika curator, arts programmer, DJ, radio broadcaster, performer, cultural worker and community leader. He has hosted weekly radio shows Sāmoan dreaming and the DJ black president show on Koori Radio and Mothership connection on 2SER.

Born in Aotearoa New Zealand, Tanoi migrated to Australia in 1988. Since then, he has produced events and worked as a consultant for many organisations, including the Big Day Out, City of Parramatta Lanes Festival, Dreaming Festival, Sydney Festival, NSW Council for Pacific Communities, Sāmoan Advisory Council, Pacific Islands Communities Action Group and NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet. He also played professional first-grade rugby league football for the Cronulla Sharks from 1990 to 1992.
