The Artists in conversation series offers insights into the creative practices of Australian artists. Maria Stoljar, host and producer of the popular Talking with painters podcast facilitates conversations, revealing what inspires and informs artists' creative practices. In this talk, Maria is in conversation with Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prize finalist, artist James Powditch whose work incorporates elements of sculpture, assemblage, painting and architecture to interrogate aspects of history, politics, environmentalism, pop culture and religion.
