Join us on a tour of select galleries across Sydney, stopping first at UNSW Galleries to see two new solo exhibitions by Renee So and David Sequeira. Her first major show in Australia, London-based So’s Provenance brings together ceramics and textiles inspired by art history, museum objects and gendered symbolism; and Sequeira’s History and Infinity features works that manipulate colour, space, language and geometry to rethink accepted narratives of art.

Next we visit Martin Browne Contemporary to see new shows by Ildiko Kovacs, whose process-driven, raw and instinctive paintings explore relationships between colour and line; and Dan Kyle, whose abstract landscapes play with surface and texture to recreate the dense scrub surrounding his Blue Mountains studio. Last stop is at Gallery Sally Dan-Cuthbert to see new works by Marion Borgelt that focus on universal themes of cosmology, life cycles, and dichotomies of urban and natural environments, microcosms and macrocosms, and light and dark.
