Taxes and duties

All prices quoted are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Australian GST is credited back to international customers when placing their orders. This credit will not be applied until you register your delivery address information then verify your order.

We are required to place a Customs Declaration on all goods shipped to customers outside Australia. The declaration will disclose the correct monetary value of the content and total sale. For customers receiving goods outside Australia, import duties and/or taxes may be levied by the local country’s authorities. These duties cannot reasonably be ascertained by the Art Gallery of NSW when purchasing goods on our website. Therefore, the recipient of the goods is responsible for paying these duties to the local country’s authority.

Returns and refunds

Should you receive an incorrect or faulty product, please immediately contact the Gallery and we can arrange, as appropriate, either a goods exchange, refund or gift voucher replacement. Goods will not be accepted for return or refund later than 30 days of your receiving the goods.

See the Contact us page. Once you have received written confirmation of the return, simply mail the goods back. Address details will be provided in the confirmation email advice.

If you receive any product that is damaged, we will send you a replacement as soon as possible (depending on product availability) once we have received return of the damaged product. If your product is lost during shipment we will send you a replacement (depending on product availability) once we have waited for the maximum delivery time to expire. All replacement items for lost or damaged products will be shipped at our cost.

No refunds or exchange on posters, earrings, CDs, DVDs and sale items unless faulty.

If you are to receive a credit, this will be processed within 5 working days of our receipt of the goods. To aid in the return process, please keep the original shipping package.

Note: Shipping charges will only be refunded in the case that an error was the fault of the Art Gallery of NSW. If you change your mind about your purchase, all return shipping charges are your responsibility. The Gallery reserves the right to reject a return from anyone if any of the above conditions are not met or in the case of excessive returns.

Your order can not be cancelled once the order has been shipped. The return policy conditions above will apply.
