Giaan Lee Cheeky smiles

I recently came across the Portuguese word saudade, used to describe the nostalgia felt for past experiences. It is the exact emotion I felt when painting my little brother. Seeing him grow up with such speed has made the quick passing of time feel bittersweet. With his cheeky smile and endless chatter about his recent interests, he has always been by my side. Our profound conversations, silly arguments and sharing of funny stories remind me that we are constantly growing together.
