The vibrant valley with its tumbling terrain are where two wise souls meet. My grandfather connects us to family, as the blue mountains connects us to country. The hazy sunlight lights up the blue hue of the eucalyptus leaves and illuminates the silver strands of his hair. It’s a beautiful landscape to match a myriad of memories. In this painting, I wanted to capture my grandfather’s enlightened soul, undisturbed by the stresses of life as he enjoys the scenery.
