Time flies
16-18 year olds

I found the reference photo that I’ve drawn from buried away in a family album gathering dust in the attic. The subject, my brother, is a teenager now and although it is less apparent, the same curiosity and shining childhood glee can still be seen in his eyes. A certain purity and innocence are captured here as he plays in the bath and slaps the water, lifting droplets into the air. Somehow, he has always managed to stay positive and brighten the family up even if we are having a bad day. When people see this portrait, even strangers, they can’t help but smile. It fills them with happiness and some with nostalgia.
