Further information

Casting a blanket of shade, the Pandanus stands shrouded with a scratchiness of scrub and brings relief from the searing sand underfoot. Salt drifts on the sea breeze rattling shards of foliage overhead and Casuarina swamp oaks drone and purr. Wave the nasty March flies away before they bite, and run from the midge clouds.

Life is an unruly tangle of matter and light. With untidy beginnings, temporal clarity can be found amongst the clutter of its duration before a messy end.

And yet, from this slow inevitable decay, an optimism is born of the possibilities for a perpetual landscape.
