The subject of this portrait by EA Harvey is his teenage son, Antony (born 1942), whose injured hand is bandaged following an accident.
In the 1958 Archibald, the artist exhibited a portrait of the nurse, Jeanette Mosley, who tended to Antony and remained a lifelong friend.
