Joshua Smith Mr AD Aboud

This portrait by Joshua Smith depicts Lebanon-born Abraham Daher Aboud (1877-1962), who arrived in Australian in the 1880s to sell handkerchiefs out of a wheelbarrow and later founded Pioneer Softgoods Industries Ltd. Aboud became a leader of the Lebanese community in Sydney.
