Artist’s statement

My body of work acts as a reflection of individualism, portraying the perceptions of both isolation and comfort in the imagery of rain. Intrigued by lyricists such as Leonard Cohen who explore the psyche of our society, Sleep here, between light and dark delves into the polarities of our world. This work was made through an elaborate process of selection of specific imagery and certain artmaking choices which ultimately led to the unification of concept and practice.
