Flight_24/7 explores the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains landscape and the threat of the proposed development of Badgerys Creek airport. The large-scale linocuts across four panels highlight the patterns and lines that occur in the natural landscape. I have used diverse mark-making techniques in this panorama to capture the expansive, fragile and diverse nature of the Blue Mountains with its sprawling mountains, sweeping hills and intricate fauna. Red flight paths pierce the landscape, symbolising their possible impact on this world heritage site.
