Artist’s statement

Emotions are principal elements of our lives. They allow us to judge and react to everyday experiences, as well as providing the human race with a universal language. We all feel emotions, and we all strive to achieve eternal happiness; however, to what extent can we understand our own emotions? My work explores an individual approach to processing one’s emotions in response to an experience. As a reaction to a range of memories, emotions are allocated, chosen, watched and reviewed. My work highlights the importance of comprehending our own feelings while not living in the past.
