Artist’s statement

Lactose anonymous humorously explores the challenges of addiction and the delight found in long-awaited triumph. Society has lacked a light-hearted approach to this topic and my intention was to prompt viewers to confront their bad habits in an amusing style. I chose to make a film that expresses these ideas through comedy, with distinct characters, intentional composition and meticulous structure. The tone and rhythm of Lactose anonymous were influenced by American filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen. I enjoyed writing, acting in and editing the journey of ‘Wesley Finnigan’ in my film.
