My work relates to the transient state between adulthood and childhood. The infinite capacities of the blur in the photographs remove specificity of place and time. The rips over the figure act as a small insight into the subject’s truth; however, it is being controlled. The camera is focused on the volume and atmosphere of the spaces rather then the objects present. It focuses on the process of perception, and an individual’s relationship to and influence on their surroundings. My photographs question the boundaries between subject and audience and promote human curiosity.
