I have always found it difficult to talk about myself, draw myself or explore myself in any great detail. This is probably the closest I’ve come. My picture book That no-one can see uses a tangential form of storytelling, each section exploring a different facet of myself. I have consciously avoided making objective reference to my friends, family history etc. for the reason that it makes me very uncomfortable. When you are uncomfortable you start telling lies and ultimately end up telling more lies than if you were lying from the beginning.
