Artist’s statement

My film explores the connection between the subconscious mind and reality, and the power of the imagination to influence thought. Frustrated with their mundane lives, a boy and girl develop a relationship in their dreams. The confines of the dream world begin to blend with reality until finally the two contradicting worlds combine. I explored the concepts of surrealist film and was influenced by the playful filmic techniques of director Michel Gondry.
