Known as the Yiribana Gallery, this space usually presents a selection of works from our Indigenous Australian collection.

One of the finest displays of Australian art anywhere, featuring some of the Gallery’s most famous and popular works and artists.

Within these magnificent rooms, you’ll find key names in art history, such as Picasso, Bacon, Van Gogh, Cézanne, Burne-Jones, Claude, Constable, Delacroix, Lord Leighton, Reynolds and Rubens, among others.

Our Asian galleries are spread over two floors. Within them are displayed some of the finest moments in art in the rich history of Asia.

The Gallery has the most comprehensive representation of contemporary art in the country from the 1960s to the present day, and a changing selection is on display in the contemporary galleries.
