Visiting the exhibition

Exhibition entry $7 per student in booked school groups.

Education groups booking a visit to Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes 2015 for $7 per student can see Julia Margaret Cameron: from the Victoria and Albert Museum, London for free on the same visit.

Bookings required for all group visits, including self-guided visits, Art Adventure Tours, art forum, study mornings, programs on request and access programs.

Investigate the current and previous Archibald exhibitions and the often controversial history of the prize

Programs on request for Years 7-12

Choose one of the following options for your students (max 15 per group) with our Gallery educators, focusing on portraits in the collection:

  • Portraits in the Gallery discussion tour (1 hour) $165 per group
  • Portraits in the Gallery art workshop (2 hours) $225 per group
  • Portraits in the Gallery masterclass (3 hours + 1 hour break) $375 per group

A visit to the exhibition before or after these programs needs to be booked as a self-guided visit.

Access programs

Art Adventure Tours for Years K–6 mentioned above are also available free with a registered Auslan interpreter for deaf students. Three weeks notice is required.
