Facilitated visits

Choose from two options for a facilitated visit with your students:

Gallery introductions

Introductory tours of the collection area or exhibition of your choice, or an overview of the whole gallery. These are led by our knowledgeable volunteer guides. Ideal for first year art/art history students or students from other disciplines at all levels.

Program details
Students need to be divided into groups of 15 or less (one guide per group)
Can relate to a specific collection area or exhibition, depending on current displays

Specialist sessions

For senior art history, museum or curatorial studies students only, we can arrange one-hour sessions with curators, conservators and public programs professionals to provide deep insight into the collections, exhibitions and curatorial methods.

Pre-service teachers can also receive a tour/lecture by one of our education specialists.

Limit of two sessions per course.

Exhibition talks, lectures and symposia

Free public talks and lectures by artists and curators are presented regularly in conjunction with exhibitions. Charges apply to some lecture and symposia.
