Title

Resting boy with helmet, model

circa 1770

Artist

Höchst

Germany

1750 - 1796

About

Possibly modelled by Melchior. Since the boy has a helmet he is perhaps intended for the god of war, Mars. Nevertheless an example of the figure is recorded which has a companion of a girl washing herself.
