Crowds viewing ‘Light of the World’ by Holman Hunt at the National Art Gallery of New South Wales

Holman Hunt’s painting 'Light of the World' was exhibited at the National Art Gallery of New South Wales between 15 March and 8 April 1906, as part of a tour of the painting through the British Dominions. It attracted 302,183 visitors in 25 days of its viewing at the Gallery.
