About
This flood occurred during the exhibition of the Helena Rubinstein travelling art scholarship between 15 September and 11 October 1959. Ten artists were invited to submit five oil paintings each. These were Charles Blackman, Arthur Boyd, Noel Counihan, Robert Dickerson, Leonard French, Thomas Gleghorn, Kenneth E. Hood, Robert Juniper, Jon Molvig and John Passmore. Passmore painted the winning work.
