  • About

Bulac is an ancient port on the Nile, and a neighbourhood in Cairo. It is thought that Menpes visited it on a trip to Egypt in 1893. It was exhibited in July 1913 at Dowdeswell's Gallery, London as 'A street in Mulak, Egypt' (cat. 136).
