Sarah Sze is known for her beguiling take on the tradition of the object trouvé (found object). Using everyday items, she creates complex sculptural installations that colonise unexpected architectural spaces, and shift and change with the perspective of the viewer. She is influenced in part by the ambition of Russian Constructivists and Futurists to ‘depict the speed and intensity of the moment and the impossibility of its stillness.’
